We had 15 players. Laura Berkley had a great night. She won the "Last Person Standing" warmup competition, going down to one bag. That's very impressive, as in the competition you throw 8 bags, if you get at least 1 in the hole, you throw 7, etc. Usually, it ends with someone throwing one in with 3 bags left, and nobody else. Not this time, as Ray Sullivan pushed Laura all the way to the end.
Then Laura went a perfect 4-0 in the round robin teams, and paired with Mark Dolpheide in the grand finale match to defeat Al Geelhaar and Mark Erwin in a close one.
Can Laura be stopped??? Come on out next Saturday and see.
